2015 Mission Hills Footgolf Championship 2nd Round To Kick-off

On June 10th, China's First FootGolf Championship’s 1st Round had a spectacular opening at Mission Hills. The first match attracted hundreds of passionate football fans and golf enthusiasts who eagerly participated in the event, including China’s former National Football Team player Peng Weiguo, former Shenzhen Football Team player Sun Gang, former CPLB Group Best Scorer Ji Jie, CSL player Pi Siwei and Singapore Football Team’s outstanding player Luan Chen. Hong Kong Actor Golf Association members Gilbert Lam, Cindy Lee Si-Nga, Billy Lau Nam Kwong and Betty Chan Yee-Ming also joined the event to try their hand at their football skills, and outstanding Mission Hills Junior Golf Series golfers Gu Longxi and Chen Yujun partnered together to join the match as well. After an intense, fun-filled and competitive afternoon, Shen Rong and Chen Yujun’s Team, Zhou Weisheng and Li Xiaofeng’s team and Xu Yuechuan and Jin Cheng’s team were crowned Champion, Runner-up and Second Runner-up respectively. Luan Chen won the Longest Distance Prize by kicking a beautiful shot at the 12th hole. He also claimed the Best Dressed Prize along with his partner Pi Siwei. Marco Geng, Mission Hills Resort’s General Manager, won the Nearest-to-Pin prize on the 10th hole, at a distance of 5 yards. Sun Gang and Gilbert Lam won the Hole-in-One on their first kick-off itself. Passion for FootGolf overflowed as it ignited the fervor of exited players and spectators in the hot summer.

And this isn’t all — on the request of passionate football fans and golf enthusiasts, the Mission Hills FootGolf Championship’s 2nd Round will be held on July 3rd. The moment enrollments for this new round opened, the 60 spots were immediately grabbed up. The 2nd round will also see a lineup of strong players in the competition.
